The real key to change is not intensity. It’s consistency.✨

Over the years, especially after age 35, then even more so after the birth of my son, I discovered that I NEEDED more mobility training and core focused training in my life in order to keep up with my strength training, maintaining and building lean muscle mass, and keeping up with a toddler and activities that I love.

I created Elemental Conditioning OnDemand to help women train with a wave like intensity and periodization so you get results without burning yourself out. ☀️

With my OnDemand + Customized Coaching package you receive a customized training calendar plus guidance with nutrition, accountability, and motivation.

We are in it for the long haul. Train for longevity, train consistently, and train in a way that fits you and your lifestyle.

The stroller walk/nap in nature has been such an impactful part of Motherhood for the last 2 years. We go out in any weather. Are you having trouble sticking to your strength training routine when traveling? Resistance bands to the rescue! 💥

When training is part of your lifestyle it’s something you do daily like brushing your teeth or taking a shower. Travel is just an excuse to get creative with your movement not to skip it.

I totally get it if you need that extra motivation. Many of my clients love having an appointment on their calendar, because they know they will make their training a priority.

Waking up the glutes to feel like a bada$$ with a good a$$

Your glutes are your “get up and go” muscles. They help extend the hip and put you in forward motion for everything from running, jumping, climbing stairs, to hiking, or getting out of bed in the morning.

Sometimes a client may have a difficult time getting their glutes to activate.

Often times this is due to muscle imbalances that alter alignment and muscle length tension relationships around the lumbopelvic hip complex and create altered reciprocal inhibition- for example, tight hip flexor muscles decrease the neural drive to the gluteus maximus. This is common when sitting for extended periods of time.

So if you want to build and strengthen your backside do these 3 things:

1. Check in with your pelvic alignment, lengthen what’s tight, strengthen what’s weak and find neutral.
2. Increase core stabilization to be able to maintain form throughout movement.
3. Put your mind to your muscle! To build new neural pathways and activate dormant muscles you have to concentrate and give your body the correct information. Otherwise the body takes the path of least resistance so focus, repetition, and consistency is 🔑

With alignment and activation you can better employ progressive overload for better results!

So use those glutes, get up and GO! and in your own unique way do bada$$ things that bring you confidence and joy!

I’m excited to share with you Elemental Conditioning’s On Demand Video Library, helping you continue your movement practice anywhere! I have 3 new videos up from our Strong Foundations program and I created this past Autumn.

This program is ideal for anyone whether you’re starting out, starting over, or looking for foundational movement practices like breath and core connection, joint mobility, Pilates mat 1, and strength and balance.

These practices were the core of my postpartum training when I was in the process of re-building. We filmed these videos almost exactly one year postpartum and I still use them time and time again for myself and my clients as we can never be too good at the basics.

These foundational practices build the inner and outer unit of the core for stability and more dynamic and pain free movement.
