Not the week everything feels easy.

Not the week motivation magically shows up.

The week you stop saying:

β€œI’ll start Monday.”
β€œI’ll go tomorrow.”
β€œI already messed up, so I might as well wait.”
β€œI’m too busy.”
β€œI’m too tired.”

That is when things change.

One day or day one. You decide.

A lot of people say they want to get in shape, feel better, lose weight, get stronger, or have more energy.

But the truth is, nothing changes until you start.

You do not need the perfect time.
You do not need more motivation.
You do not need everything figured out.

You just need to take the first step.

Because every result starts with one workout.
One better meal.
One decision to stop waiting.

Stop saying β€œone day.”
Make today day one.

Just show up.

Easier said than done.

The hardest part is not always the workout. Sometimes the hardest part is getting yourself through the door.

Here are a few simple tips to help you show up:

Make the workout decision before the day gets busy.

Most people do not miss workouts because they do not care.
They miss workouts because the day gets busy, they get tired, and they wait until the last minute to decide.

So here is the plan:

Tonight, look at your schedule and pick the exact class or workout time you are going to attend tomorrow.

Then do 3 things:

1) Book the class/workout ahead of time
Do not leave it as β€œI’ll try to go.” Put it on your schedule like an appointment.

2) Set your clothes, shoes, and water bottle out the night before
Make it easy to get out the door. The less thinking you have to do, the better.

3) Tell your coach/friend/gymmate you are coming
That extra accountability matters. When someone is expecting you, you are more likely to follow through.

The goal is not to feel motivated.
The goal is to make showing up easier.

Plan it.
Prepare for it.
Tell someone.
Then just get through the door.
