Welcome to STA Mount Olive, John Wolyneic! 👋⚽️

We’re excited to welcome John to the STA MO coaching staff, where he will be leading our U12 Girls team!

John brings an incredible background in professional soccer, both as a player and coach. Most recently, he served as Technical Director of the San Jose Earthquakes (2022–2026). Prior to that, he was Head Coach of New York Red Bulls II (2015–2021), where he led the team to the 2016 USL Championship title and was named Coach of the Year.

His coaching experience also includes time within the New York Red Bulls first-team and academy systems, serving in roles including Assistant/Reserve Team Coach and U23/U13 Head Coach. John holds a USSF Pro License.

As a player, John enjoyed a successful 12-year MLS career with the New York Red Bulls, LA Galaxy, Columbus Crew and Chicago Fire, and was selected 7th overall in the 1999 MLS Draft.

We’re delighted to have you on board John and can’t wait to see the impact you make at STA! 💪

USL Youth NATIONAL FINALS — HERE WE COME! 👋🏆🇺🇸

⚽ FC Motown STA U16 Boys

All four teams have officially qualified for the USL Y National Finals and will be heading to Tampa, Florida, this December! 🌴☀️
