Well, the sad news is that school staff go back tomorrow. The good news is that I will be here on weekends and holidays until the marina closes in October. Dad will be here during the week until then. It has been a great summer off and I'm still excited to be able to work a couple days a week. Make sure you stop by and grab some gas on your weekend boat rides! We still have lots of beautiful weather to take advantage of before it gets cold, don't let it slip through your fingers!

Post number 8 of the Marina Dogs Series, Mack. Mack is a very sweet boy who hasn't always gone boating, so he is building up his sea legs. Like all of our dogs, he loves to stop by and grab a snack on the way to the boat. We love seeing him and giving him a little pat while he's here.

Post number 7 of the Marina Dogs Series. Listen, we don't play favorites around here, but it's no secret that this old man holds a special place in my heart. Baxter is an OG of Bucksport Marina. When he could run around, he would come flying into the shop and bark at me for a snack, which I obviously never denied him. He isn't spry enough to come hang out on his boat anymore but we love him just the same and miss seeing him here. I was just really lucky to get a visit today.

Post number 6 of the Marina Dogs Series. Fiera! Fiera is a big and beautiful Cane Corso who is calm and very very polite. She is the best girl! Fiera will get a little excited to have a snack at the shop (but who doesn't, right?). She is an experienced and comfortable boat and dock dog and we absolutely love her, because she is just a sweetheart.

Post number 5 of the Marina Dogs Series! Izzy! Izzy is a sweet and energetic pup who loves to go for boat rides, but maybe isn't the best swimmer (dont tell her that her mom and dad told me 🤫). She loves to say hi to everyone that passes her by and she loves to run around her boat!

Post number 4 of the Marina Dogs series! Huntley. Huntley is a distinguished gentleman who has been a sailor for quite a few years. He is polite and reserved and just like all the Marina dogs, he loves to stop in and get a quick snack on his way by the shop. He is always sure to leave no crumbs behind.

Post number 3 of the Marina Dogs series! This is Luther and Floki. These guys are high energy Jack Russell Terriers. They never fail to make sure you know they are in the room. They are adorable and sweet little Tasmanian devils and I get tired just watching them.

Post number 2 of the Marina Dogs series! Macy (left) and Maggie (right). Maggie is an OG Marina dog. A sweet and polite girl who knows her way around the docks. Maggie will sit all day long for butt rubs and head scratches. Macy is her little sister and full of energy and love. They both LOVE to come in to sit, then get their daily snacks and sometimes Macy even tastes it before she swallows!

Welcome to the first post of the 2026 Marina Dogs series! Up first is Toby. Toby has been with us a couple years. He is a low key, relaxed and distinguished gentleman (when he isn't partying it up at Mardi Gras). Toby likes snacks from our snack jar and occasionally a head rub. He is so well behaved and such a good boy.
