I'd like to take a moment to thank one of our seasonal slip holders (along with her husband, Tim) Sally Viner, for respectfully repairing our giant American flag. We all rely on this flag to tell wind direction and it is a staple down on the waterfront, which is why it is so prone to being ripped. We knew she sewed so we asked if she would take on the task and she repaired it beautifully!

It's five minutes to 9 a m on May 15th, and the lights on the Bucksport Marina are still off but within the next five minutes, they're gonna go on for this years boating season.

We started the day with a ramp picture and we end it with the happy faces (and sore bodies) of two harbor masters who got most of the moorings up and running for the summer before the rain starts today.
