Athletes from the BHS Track & Field team competed at the New England Championship at the University of New Hampshire today… and with amazing results. Two school records were broken, three athletes finished in the top 15 in their event, and one earned All-New England honors. Congratulations to:
—-Girls 4x400m relay team of Addison Goss, Haley Rose, Aivah Tweedie, and Madison Rose for setting a new school record with a time of 4:17.82
—-Davyn Stewart for placing 14th and setting a second-best all-time BHS throw of 51’0.5” in the shot put
—-Will Hileman for placing 10th overall and for setting a new BHS record of 4:22.57 in the 1600m run
—-Natasha Monreal for earning a spot on the podium and All New England honors by placing 6th in the long jump with a jump of 18’. Natasha is the only girl in Maine this year to jump over 18’

Congratulations to the girls track team today for repeating as champions at the Waterville Invitational Meet. We had many individual winners and many more PRs. It was a great way for our athletes to prepare for our postseason championships. Congrats to all🏆🏆🏆

Bus 10 on Sat. Meet starts at 12:00.

LEWISTON -- Monday's Class B state track and field championship meet at Bates College in Lewiston produced several stellar finishes for local individuals and teams.

Banner Ceremonies tomorrow at halftime of the Girls Varsity Basketball Game (6:30 start time). The Boys 2022 Class B Runners Up Banner and the Girls 2023 Class B Runners Up Banner will be presented to members of those teams.

Another record-breaking day for the Bucksport Golden Bucks! This time it was the Boys 4x800 relay team of Will Hileman, Michael Johnson, Zachary Havey-Chambers, and Gage Bruns smashing the 20-year-old record of 9:18.12 with a new time of 9:03.08.
