WE ARE OPEN !! We regret the absence of communication lately, but it was for valid reasons. Whitney has returned home after a prolonged hospital stay of three months and is now recuperating. Wayne is receiving proper care at the Maine Veterans Home after a health scare at EMMC involving a brain bleed, which required immediate surgical intervention. Thankfully, he has shown remarkable resilience and recovered well. We are thankful and delighted to be celebrating this Father's Day together as a family following several difficult months of separation.

We are so sad to announce the death of Wayne's best buddy, Emma. She stayed by his side for 16 years and he was never seen without her. Even though I loved her, it was nothing compared to my dad's love for her and the bond they shared. I have avoided making this post because I knew it would make me sob just writing it. She held on as long as she could. I'm so sorry, Dad. I love you.
