Our Hudson St. Christmas is really growing❤🤍💚

What a joy it was to see our small community and surrounding areas come together for this event👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

A big thank you to all that made this happen: Buckner Park Board & their family & friends, Richard Ramirez & Jennifer Ramirez for organizing our fun Christmas Parade and all the parade participants, Fire Chief Greg Daugherty & Tammy Smith Daugherty along with Fort Osage Fire Protection District , Pastor Doug Day, Fort Osage School District, FOHS Choir Teacher Julie Ammons & the High School Choir, OTMS choir teacher Kaitlyn Long & Middle School choir, Buckner Elementary choir teacher Cory Teal & The Village Kids choir, Buckner Elementary Principal Erica Woods & 3 exceptional students Aaron, Hayes, & Truman to help light the Mayor's Christmas Tree, FOHS Broadcaster Emily for videoing event, The Robertson Family with decorating lampposts, and of course our Grinch, Cindy Louhoo & Santa 🎅
We also appreciate the downtown Buckner businesses, Tammi Sue's, LLC, The Hudson Room, The Chandelier Room, Bonehill Distillery & Bad to the Bones for participating in the fun!

Looks like the weather is going to cooperate with us this year for our Christmas event❤🤍💚. Tonight parade starts at 6 pm from the Methodist Church to the depot 🕍🚂. We will have 3 students' choir groups performing shortly after the parade 🎶🎵, lighting of the Mayor's Christmas Tree by 3 Buckner Elementary students, then join us in the downtown area for festivities inside city hall to include cookie decorating and crafts for the kiddos and hot cocoa bar for all, photo with Santa and the Grinch. Some of t@he downtown businesses will have their doors open and have special things going on inside.

We are 1 week away for our annual Christmas event in downtown Buckner! If we have inclement weather that day the event will be postponed until the next Saturday which is Dec. 13th.

Here's to another great year at the spray park! We have closed it down for the winter. We will reopen next year.
