Lookey lookey, are very own WRHS Ms Heather!

Heather Martin has volunteered with Special Olympics Washington for the last 9 years, and has been a coach for the White River Hornets for the last 3! She works as a specialized para educator and many of her students are Special Olympics athletes. As Heather got to know her students she wanted to get more involved with Special Olympics, and the rest is history! Fun fact: when Heather isn't teaching or coaching, she loves to paint watercolor beach scenes 🎨🏖️

We have had people asking if there would be an opportunity for other family members to test (most staff and students are being tested weekly as a part of the School-Based Testing Pilot with Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department)
A drive-thru COVID-19 mobile testing station will be at Elk Ridge Elementary (340 White River Park Road)
