ATTENTION ALL ALUMNI/FAMILY/FRIENDS!

Our college home meet will be SATURDAY April 18th this year! We are having an alumni/family section for everyone who attends. We want to get as many people here as possible to cheer on the current bobcats!!!!🧡🐾Please share this post and spread the word!

Hello everyone! PLEASE READ!

We’re planning a tailgate at the MEC race on October 25th after the race. We’re expecting around 70 people, including the track team and their supporters.

Bobcats end the regular season takin care of business!!

The men finished 3rd out of 19 schools- finishing as the top MEC team and Atlantic Region team!

Kent Niland led the way with a top 5 ALL TIME finish of 25:07. The men had 4 lifetime PRs and 2 season bests.

The women finished 5th out of 19 schools.

Lindsey Dillon led the way with a converted 5k time of 18:26, the SECOND fastest XC 5k in school history! Even with the conversion, the women had 6 lifetime PRs!

Regular season comes to a close and championship season is right around the corner🤠 Go Bobcats!

The XC Mountain East Conference championship will be hosted October 25th at Oglebay Resort, Wheeling WV. It will be a great day cheering on the Bobcats as they shoot for some record performances! Our track team and families will be there on the sidelines as well- come show that Wesleyan culture!

The indoor track and field conference championship will be hosted this upcoming Sunday-Monday at Marshall University. It will be a VERY exciting meet so if you are available come out and support the bobcats!!!! 🐾

Sunday field events start at 12pm and running at 5pm.

ALUMNI AND FRIENDS🐾

We are hosting the annual Jasmine Claggett Memorial home meet on Friday, April 18th! This will be our senior night and award ceremony for teammates of the year. Please join us to make it a great event for the past and present bobcats!! We will be having an alumni tent area as well.

NCAA ATLANTIC REGION CHAMPIONSHIPS:

The women finished 6th place, which is the highest finish in Wesleyan HISTORY!

Leigha Hall led the way with a 3rd place finish, qualifying her for the NCAA national championships! She also ran the fastest 6k time in Wesleyan HISTORY (20:48). Lindsey Dillon and Mo Akita just finished outside of All-Region honors, both having huge days and big PRs!

Aubrey Paes, Mariam Al-Zoubi, Taylor Hess, and Sofia Pancoast rounded out historic team finish all with lifetime or season PRs.

The men finished top 10 for the first time since 2015! The men went from having 2 men on the team back in 2019 to where they are now- one of the fastest men’s team in history going off of all time lists.

Evan Pyles and Anthony Sanders ran away with 10k Prs, putting them both on the top 5 ALL TIME list!

Jonathan Norton had a huge day finishing top 50 and a big PR. Kent Niland, Cade Robinson, Elijah Hannig, and Peyton Slider all rounded out in the top 100!

Congratulations to Leigha Hall for her 3rd place finish at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship. Her 6k time of 20:48 is the fastest time in Wesleyan HISTORY. Hall will compete at the NCAA National Championship in Sacramento CA in two weeks. 🐾
