Seeking business sponsors in Botetourt or surrounding areas to help offset the cost of uniforms and fees for our players! In exchange, we would love to list your business or logo on our team banner to be displayed at tournaments, as well as list you/tag you on our social media pages to show how much it means to our players and their families!

Donations can be made via Venmo or by cash/check (we will bring by an appreciative young baseball player to pick this up and thank you personally if you want to go with cash/check)! Also, send over your logo if you would like it to be on the banner!

Tryouts are just a few days away and we are excited to meet players from all over the area! Below are answers to some frequently asked questions in case this helps you decide if the team would be a good fit for your family!

What will practice and game locations/schedules look like?

⚾️ Our plan is to do mostly local tournaments (Daleville, Covington, Radford, Christiansburg) for the entire summer/fall season. Tournaments will last from August- October with a goal of 2 tournaments a month with a potential 3rd tournament in September. Depending on everyone's availability for July, we may try to enter a tournament for then. We will practice in Buchanan at the elementary school and at our personal indoor batting cage in Buchanan.

My kid has only played coach pitch, is that ok?

⚾️ short answer, YES! So far, all of our players have only played coach pitch so this will be a new and exciting experience for all of them! Our goal with this team is to work on fundamentals and development for the next level of baseball... most of the kids would technically be 8u until the end of the 2023 season (August 15) so we will just jump into 9u from the start! We would also love to carry them all over into the spring and summer season.
If you need to confirm your players age, you can use the USSSA age calculator on the site we listed in the tryout info! Put the season as “2024 season” to see the most accurate calculation!

Will there be any help with team fees/costs associated with playing?

⚾️ YES! We have several sponsors already lined up and will continue to try and keep the team fees as low as possible.

What equipment do they need for tryouts?

⚾️ We have several extras on hand but it is preferred that they bring their own glove, helmet, and bat. We also have catching gear to share but if you have your own, feel free to bring it!

How soon will we know if we ”made the team” or not?

⚾️ We plan to make calls over the weekend so that you will know asap!

New 9U travel baseball opportunity in Botetourt! Looking for several competitive players to add to our team for August-October (potentially a tournament in July)! Hoping to carry team over to next Spring & Summer season as well!

This team will have access to a private indoor training facility with a full length batting cage, sponsors to help with player cost, and will be accommodating to kids playing other sports this fall!

Looking for players 7, 8 or 9 years old. As long as player is 9 or below with the cut off of May 1. Players who turn 10 prior to May 1 of the current season are not eligible. To confirm you child's age, visit the age calculator below
