MY TURN Sports League My Turn is a baseball league specifically created for children with special needs and disabilities.

The league will provide an opportunity for our children to be part of a team and experience playing in a baseball game.

Been meaning to share a cutie little trucker hat that my friend Kackie Mae's Appliqués brought to life with my design. I wanted to make something a little bit more girly for our MY TURN Sports League mamas and friends and she knocked it out of the park.

If any mamas or girlies (or anybody to support our kids sports🫶) want one please let me know. Venmo will be in the comments. Cut off for ordering will be August 24 and will take 3-4 weeks to produce.

Please note the actual hat will be slightly different to keep cost down, and I added the rope to my personal one in the picture. This isn’t a fundraiser- just wanted to offer some new merch 🫶⚾️

Wow!! Look how AMAZING our all abilities My Turn field is looking 🤩 All the turf is laid out, logo placed, a beautiful brick backstop and soon to be moving on to building the dugouts! We are so excited with how the project is coming along. Like our post earlier in the week said- we still have a long ways to go- but every day we’re getting a little bit closer! We will have our first game on the new field in SPRING 2027! 🎉⚾️

Big shoutout to Capital Sports Construction for all their hard work on this project!

It’s finally happening 🎉 The turf is officially going down on the My Turn field! We still have a LONG ways to go, but it’s one step closer to game day!

Magical.

It’s difficult to imagine describing Friday night’s My Turn game any other way. There is something special about playing under the lights with your friends. The surrounding areas to the field buzzing with conversation and laughter. The explosions of cheers after every hit. The sounds of the PA announcer calling out the next batter and seeing them swelled with pride as they enter the batter’s box. Seeing every kid on that field having fun, smiling, and competing. Watching determination, grit, and tenacity in every aspect of the game. These kids had a BLAST!

Haralson County, we want to say thank you! Thank you for showing up and showing out. Thank you for cheering on all our My Turn athletes as they were given a shot at THEIR turn under the lights. These type events are not possible without community support and trust me when we say this: WE FEEL IT!

It has been humbling to see everyone come out and cheer our kids on in full support. The Haralson County Recreation Department was ROCKING on Friday night! Our game under the lights is not one we soon will forget.

Inclusion and Community matter. We are blessed to be surrounded by both.
