As a Black woman-owned organization, we honor the generations who came before us and recognize the sacrifices, strength, and determination that made it possible for us to create spaces where children can learn, express themselves, and shine.

Dance is more than movement—it is storytelling, expression, culture, confidence, and freedom. Through every class, performance, and opportunity, we strive to inspire our dancers to move boldly, dream fearlessly, and embrace who they are.

Today we celebrate our history, honor our heritage, and continue empowering the next generation to dance confidently into their future.

TaMiya’s Studio of Dance is preparing for our 5th Annual & FINAL Spring Dance Recital — “Flashback to the Past” and we would truly love to see the community come together to support our dancers one last time this spring. 💃🏽🕺🏽

Over the past 5 years, our students have worked hard, grown tremendously, and dedicated countless hours to their craft. This recital is more than just a performance — it’s the closing of a very special chapter filled with memories, passion, growth, and love.

We especially want to extend a heartfelt invitation to our family members, friends, and supporters who may have never had the opportunity to attend one of TaMiya’s dance recitals before. This milestone marks five incredible years of passion, growth, dedication, and unforgettable memories. What began as a dream at just 16 years old has blossomed into something truly amazing — and it’s all because of the love and support from our families, friends, and community.
