IT’S HAPPENING. NOW IS THE TIME.
ATF has officially released their guidance and long story short is silencers, short barrel r***es/shotguns and a few other things are now officially no longer required go through the Form4 process federally. What does this mean for you in Ohio? Pretty much nothing. Because our state still has some badly worded laws. The registration process is still required here. I’ve been in contact with our county prosecutor to push the Ohio AG for clarification. I expect that to get us nowhere in typical slow government fashion.
Why am I telling you this?
Because I just bought $30k worth of stuff and as I was, inventory was disappearing at the supplier level already. It’s going to go dry for awhile and supply will be hard to find. If you want one, have wanted one, or have thought about it. I would stop in the shop and buy what we have or what is on the way if you don’t want to wait out the supply shortage. It’s already slim pickings, although we did just get a small shipment in yesterday.
