Greetings awesome Texas FireFighters, the basketball registration has officially opened. We’re still waiting on the location confirmation but if teams want to take advantage of the super early bird and early bird registration fees, they can do so now. The fees did go up slightly to accommodate the rising coin cost, trophy cost, and to help cover the scorekeeper cost as well. For those that don’t want to pay the increased regular registration cost, they can take advantage of the earlier registration opportunities which are around the same cost as the previous regular registration. 

Also, another positive change this year is the recreation and competitive league options. Based on the feedback from several coaches, we’ve made this change which will hopefully increase our turnout.

We are looking at having competitive and recreational divisions this year. This question has been asked:

How do you prevent a smaller city with highly skilled players from choosing to play in the recreation league with the intent to dominate just to get an easy trophy?

What are your thoughts?
