kido. The lead technical instructor is Mutsumi Uehara Sensei who is under instruction of Takao Hattori Shihan (Shunyoukai Aikikai Aikido) in Japan. The primary program directing & regulating is under the guidance of Manabu Masuda Shihan (Aikido Masuda Dojo) a direct Lineage of Aikido Kobayashi Dojo. Our classes are two hours in duration and take place on Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning at 7:45PM. Classes are held at Montoya's Shorin Kempo Karate, in Bryan, located at:

Easy directions: from campus, take South College north. Just after Villa Maria, you'll see Rountree on your left. The dojo is on your right, just as Rountree curves to the right. Your first week of Aikido lessons is free. No need to pay upfront and there are no contracts. Membership fees are greatly discounted for the quality of instruction provided, with fees at an especially low rate for TAMU students, postdocs and research or teaching assistants.
