Honor your Mom by thinking of the love she gave you, even when you were unkind to her.
Honor her by remembering the wisdom she shared with you in hopes that you would learn from her mistakes or from her honesty in admitting her failures. Honor her by being kind and generous to those you love, as well as to strangers. Honor her by knowing she cared for you as best she could. Honor her by appreciating that she gave life to you.
If she raised you, it wasn't easy for her. If she gave you up for adoption, it wasn't easy for her.
If she buried a child, it wasn't easy for her.
If you buried your Mother, it wasn't easy. If you still have her in your life Celebrate her. Thank her. Tell her you love her. Hug her. Hug her again, a little longer than normal. Either way, Celebrate her life!
