Avril Legault celebrated her 90th birthday by heading to CrossFit NCR in Ottawa to get her session in.

Before fitness was trendy… before gyms were on every corner… before “longevity” became a buzzword… There was Jack LaLanne.

He swam the Golden Gate underwater with 140 pounds of equipment.

He completed 1,033 push-ups in 23 minutes.

He swam from Alcatraz to Fisherman’s Wharf.

At 70, he towed 70 rowboats for 1.5 miles... handcuffed and shackled.

But the real legacy wasn’t the feats.

It was the message:
Exercise is King.
Nutrition is Queen.
Use your body. Protect your health. Take responsibility.

Jack didn’t just perform strength.
