The 2025 SIAC Women’s XC CHAMPIONS are headed to Lakeland #, FL for the NCAA DII SOUTH REGION CHAMPIONSHIPS!

After a season of hard work and determination, The Lady Rams are ready to represent Albany State University on the regional stage.

Our Brunswick High Girls Cross Country Team competed this past weekend at the GHSA Sectional Meet — featuring 31 schools from Regions 1, 2, 3, and 5! The top 12 teams advanced to the State Championships in Carrollton…

…and YOUR LADY PIRATES DID IT! 💙💛🔥

The girls finished 12th overall and have officially qualified for the State Meet — marking the FIRST TIME in school history the Girls team has reached State since GHSA instituted the Sectional format! ⚔️

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ CROSS COUNTRY UPDATE 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The Brunswick High Girls and Boys Cross Country teams had a strong showing at the Three Rivers Classic in Hazlehurst! 💙💛

✨ Girls Team (5th out of 13) ✨
• Isabella Dixon broke the school record with a blazing 20:16! She placed 6th overall and claimed the top spot for BHS girls for the first time this season! 🔥
• Kimball Alderman followed with a 20:32 (PR) and a 10th-place finish, showing her steady improvement!
• Cheyenne Crosby ran a strong 21:18 for 16th place, continuing her leadership role with this young, surging group!
• Audrey Wolfe (24:43) and Estefania Vences-Lazo (24:57) rounded out the top five for the Lady Pirates!

✨ Boys Team (8th out of 18) ✨
• Isaiah Whiddon led the Pirates for the second straight meet, finishing in 18:10 for 22nd place!
• Ben Aguirre (18:13, 25th) and Tucker Teston (18:30, 30th) followed closely behind!
• Eli Petrovay (19:21) and freshman Jakarri Moses (20:13) completed the top five for the boys!

💡 Both teams continue to show major improvement and growth since last season!

Brunswick High Cross Country Results – South Georgia Championships

The Brunswick High School Girls team placed 4th out of 17 teams at the South Georgia Championships in Hazlehurst.

Kimball Alderman (Freshman) broke the school record with a time of 21:05, finishing 4th overall.

Isabelle Dixon (Freshman) finished 8th overall with a time of 22:01.

Cheyenne Crosby placed 12th overall with a time of 22:35.

Rounding out the top five for the girls were Audrey Wolfe (40th, 25:54) and Addison Wilkerson (57th, 27:25).

The Brunswick High School Boys team placed 7th out of 23 teams.

Ben Aguirre set a personal best of 18:37, finishing 16th overall.

Tucker Teston placed 25th overall with a time of 19:16.

Isaiah Whiddon (39th, 19:53), Josh Zarate (50th, 20:03), and Eli Petrovay (95th, 21:24) rounded out the boys’ top five.

Both teams continue to show steady improvement and strong performances week after week.
