“Never thought I would actually be able to do planks 🙂”

When Susan started her journey, she was looking to build strength and improve her overall health. What she's discovered over the past 90 days is that progress often shows up in the little things that make everyday life easier.

One of the biggest changes she's noticed is feeling stronger and becoming more mindful of her breathing throughout the day, no matter what she's doing.

But what is Susan most proud of?

Simply put: she showed up.

She stuck with it. She stayed consistent. She made attending class a priority and learned to appreciate what she calls "the yumminess that's on the other side of every session."

And that consistency is paying off:

✨ More strength and confidence
✨ Easier everyday movements
✨ Greater awareness of her body and breathing
✨ Accomplishing exercises she never thought possible

Including planks!

Susan's advice for anyone feeling nervous about getting started:

"Take it one session at a time. You've got this!"

That's exactly how lasting change happens. Not all at once, but one workout, one small win, and one step forward at a time.

🎉June Athlete of the Month: Judy Lipetz 🎉

We're excited to celebrate Judy as our June Athlete of the Month!

Since joining Wilcox, Judy has become stronger, more confident, and more aware of how she moves throughout her day. One of her biggest accomplishments hasn't been lifting more weight or hitting a specific milestone; it's learning to slow down and move with greater intention.

Judy reminds us that fitness isn't about how you look; it's about how you move.

She's motivated by staying active and mobile as she ages, inspired by her incredible 82-year-old neighbor, and committed to investing in her future health through consistent training.

One of the things Judy loves most about Wilcox is the sense of community and knowing that she's surrounded by coaches who genuinely care about every member's success.

Her advice for anyone working on their health and fitness?

👉 "Just do it. It's a gift to yourself."

“Getting out of bed hurts way less… and my knees feel better walking down the stairs!”

When Kelly first started, she simply wanted to feel better.

Like so many people, exercise wasn’t something she loved, and getting started can feel like the hardest part when you’re unsure if you’ll actually stick with it.

But this time was different.

Over the past 90 days, Kelly has done something she’s incredibly proud of: she stuck with it.

And that consistency is paying off in meaningful ways:

✨ Feeling stronger in everyday life
✨ Less pain getting out of bed in the morning
✨ Walking down stairs with happier knees
✨ Spending time gardening without so much stiffness afterward

And maybe the best part?

She actually looks forward to coming to class.

In Kelly’s words:

“Just sign up! I am not one that loves exercise, but I’m finding this easy to stick with and I actually look forward to going to class! It’s quick and makes you feel so much better!”

That’s what progress really looks like.

Not extreme transformations.

🎉 May Athlete of the Month: Tracy Plummer 🎉

We are so excited to celebrate Tracy as our May Athlete of the Month!

Before joining Wilcox, committing to regular exercise was something Tracy had struggled with, but she found something different here. Now, showing up is part of her routine in a way that feels natural, sustainable, and even missed when she can’t make it to class.

Her biggest accomplishment? Sticking with it.

Through that consistency, Tracy has built strength, improved her endurance, and started to see meaningful progress - like jumping to higher platforms and completing workouts without needing to stop. Even more importantly, she’s embraced a powerful mindset shift:

👉 Healthy living and weight are not the same thing.

Tracy is a great reminder that feeling strong, capable, and energized matters so much more than any number on a scale.

🎉 April Athlete of the Month: Hillary Liddle 🎉

We are so excited to celebrate Hillary as our April Athlete of the Month!

Hillary has been part of the Wilcox community for the past 4 years, and her journey is a true reflection of what consistency, patience, and intention can create over time. What started as a goal to build strength and create a routine she could maintain has turned into increased confidence, improved endurance, and a deeper connection to how she moves.

Her biggest accomplishment? Simply sticking with it.

Showing up consistently over the years has helped Hillary build strength, refine her form, and even achieve things she once wasn’t sure were possible (yes… actual ab muscles 💪).

She’s also embraced one of the most powerful mindset shifts we can make:
👉 It doesn’t have to be perfect to be effective.

Hillary shows up, puts in the work, and trusts the process...and it shows.
