🔵 As the 1A State Championship kicks off, our Central Tiger juniors and seniors are in the stands, cheering on a fellow Carroll County team!

Our guys are showing class, character, and what it means to lift up neighbors when they’re playing for a title.

We’re proud of the way our Tigers represent Central and today we yell, ‘Go Rebels’! 📢

🏈 Central High School Tiger Athletics 🏈

Central High School is proud to recognize one of our own for the leadership and consistency he’s shown throughout this historic season — Braxton Howard.

Under Braxton’s direction at quarterback, the Tigers reached milestones not seen in decades — our first 7-win season since 2014 and first 4-0 start since 1998. His command of the offense and steady presence helped fuel a season defined by growth, teamwork, and belief in one another.

Braxton became the school’s all-time leading passer, while also helping two of his teammates set records as the first and second all-time leading receivers in program history — a true reflection of his ability to make those around him better.

Every accomplishment this season was earned together, and Braxton’s leadership was a key part of that success.

We are proud to introduce and promote Braxton Howard as our 2025 Class A Mr. Football Candidate, representing the commitment, resilience, and pride it takes to be a Central Tiger and show true Tiger Pride.
