Renowned for personalized care and its wide open pastures, Rocky Top Stable offers miles and miles of breathtaking trails through some of West Virginia's most beautiful terrain. Everyone that knows me,knows I have no vanity and don’t really care about my outward appearance lol but when my front tooth fell out and my four year-old grandson saw me he said “dude that’s ugly Mimi”😂😂😂 It’s too bad seniors don’t have dental care. This is gonna cost me a whole trip.😳

Introducing the doctor of Mann’s Best Friend Veterinary Services, Dr. Payton Mann!

Dr. Payton Mann grew up on a farm in Pocahontas County WV, where she fostered her love of animals in showing cattle and sheep. Through the majority of her childhood, she participated in 4-H, FFA, and was a member of the WV High School Rodeo Association, competing in barrel racing and pole bending. Starting her freshman year of high school, and for seven years following, Dr. Mann worked as a veterinary assistant in Frankford, WV. She pursued an animal science degree at Potomac State College and West Virginia University, prior to receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Since then, she’s worked in large and small animal general practice for 6 years and for one year in high quality/volume spay and neuter.

Dr. Mann is very passionate about the health and wellness of all species, with a special love for equine medicine, particularly wellness and lameness. Equine reproduction is also a huge passion of Dr. Mann’s, in regard to which she is pursuing continuing education. She is licensed in WV, OH, PA and VA. She will only be offering ambulatory services as of right now.

Dr. Mann currently lives in Morgantown, WV with her two cats and two dachshunds. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking, reading, and exploring nature with her dogs.
