The Spring of Salt worked. We have normal, healthy looking bucks for a change. The bad news is that we have wolves again. Watched one from my bow stand last Saturday morning.

The numbers are out for the 9 day season. 160,769 deer for the 9 day gun season. Lowest gun harvest since 1980. Between gun and bow this will be the lowest total deer harvest since 1983.

Good hunting season. Carl, Buck, Nate, Mark and Gary all got bucks and Tom got a doe. Carl shot the big one but missed 2 others.
