What a way to wrap up our final tournament of the summer! 🐝⚾️
This weekend, our Brownwood Sting 14U boys showed what heart, grit, and determination are all about.
Yesterday wasn’t the outcome we wanted, falling to the Jokerz 0-5 and the Mud Boyz 2-14. But instead of hanging their heads, these boys came back today with something to prove.
In an incredible display of resilience, they battled back from an 8-1 deficit to defeat the Mud Boyz 10-8 and earn a spot in the championship game! 💪🏽⚾
We faced the Jokerz one last time and came up short, 0-3, finishing the tournament as Finalists. While the score wasn’t in our favor, these boys left everything they had on the field. They fought through adversity, never quit, and played with heart until the very last out.
We couldn’t be more proud of this team and everything they’ve accomplished this season. Thank you to our players for your hard work, our coaches for your dedication, and our families for your endless support.
As we close out our summer season, we’re already looking ahead. Fall ball is right around the corner, and we can’t wait to watch these boys continue to grow, develop, and build on everything they’ve learned. The future is bright for Brownwood Sting 14U, and we’re excited to see what’s next✊🏽💙
