Important Club Update: (Read in full)

After careful consideration and a full review of safety, insurance, and operating costs, The Nixon Gun Club will be transitioning away from traditional fi****ms use and moving to a more primitive weapons format effective immediately.

Approved disciplines will now include slingshots, bows, spears, and atlatls, with a tomahawk lane currently under consideration pending club member approval. This change is intended to create a quieter, more heritage-focused atmosphere while still allowing members to enjoy competition, accuracy, and outdoor recreation.

New range rules, approved equipment lists, and primitive weapons safety guidance will be announced soon. We understand this is a major change, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and support as we begin this new chapter for the club.

We had to have a little fun today. In all seriousness, thank you to all of our dedicated members for everything you do to support the club. Your time, effort, and loyalty are what keep this place going, and we appreciate every one of you.

🔔 Gun Bash Ticket Turn-In Reminder 🔔

If you have Gun Bash tickets that are sold or unsold, please turn them in as soon as possible.

We need to:
• Account for all distributed tickets.
• Reassign any unsold tickets to members who still have buyers.

Please bring tickets (and payment for sold ones) to the club. Butch will be there from 5:00 PM till at least 7:00 PM.
