Jimmy Chapa started his Jiu-Jitsu journey with us a few years ago, and over time he has become one of the most experienced kids on the mats at Anzelone Jiu-Jitsu Academy. His dedication, consistency, and willingness to learn have helped him grow tremendously.

🥋🔥 Thursday No-Gi Vibes! 🔥🥋

Great way to finish the week on the mats! Thursdays mean No-Gi training, and our team showed up ready to work. Lots of energy, great technique, and teammates pushing each other to improve. 💪

It’s always awesome to see everyone ending the week strong at Anzelone Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Hard work, good rolls, and a great team atmosphere — that’s what it’s all about!

🥋✨ Wednesday Vibes – Kids Class ✨🥋

Midweek training and our kids showed up ready to work! 💪 From warm-ups to drills and live training, the energy on the mats was amazing today.

Our students continue to grow in confidence, discipline, and teamwork every week. It’s great to see them supporting each other, learning new techniques, and having fun while doing it. Because at Anzelone Jiu-Jitsu Academy, there’s always time to learn, train hard, and enjoy the journey together.

Keep it up, kids — we’re proud of the effort you bring every class! 🙌

😊🥋 Welcome Noe & Nico Cantu! 🥋😊

From day one, Noe and Nico have brought nothing, but smiles and great energy to the mats at Anzelone Jiu-Jitsu Academy!

Even though they just started a couple of months ago, they show up ready to learn, ready to work, and ready to have FUN. Their positive attitudes and willingness to try everything we teach make them a joy to coach.

And to make it even better… Dad jumped in and joined us too! 💪 Nothing better than seeing families train together and grow together on this journey.

We’re so excited to watch Noe and Nico continue to improve and build confidence every week. Keep smiling and keep learning, boys — you’re doing awesome! 🙌✨

🔥🥋 Athlete Spotlight: Dante Ulloa 🥋🔥

Dante started with us a few years ago, and if you see him off the mats, you’ll notice the same sweet, respectful, and kind young boy we all adore. But the moment he steps onto the mat… he transforms. 💪

Dante is an incredible kid — super technical, focused, and always thinking through every movement. He’s constantly asking questions, eager to understand the “why” behind what we teach. That curiosity is what helps him grow so fast.

And one thing about Dante… he will not give up easily. Once he’s engaged, he’s determined, resilient, and ready to work. On top of that, he’s an amazing teammate — supportive, respectful, and always willing to train hard.

We’re so proud of the young warrior he’s becoming at Anzelone Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Keep pushing, Dante — your journey is just getting started! 🚀

When we talk about dedication and leadership, John Muñoz is a perfect example. Since joining Anzelone Jiu-Jitsu Academy a few years ago, he has consistently shown what it means to be committed to the journey.

He’s always one of the first to arrive — ready, focused, and prepared to put in the work. That kind of discipline doesn’t go unnoticed. But what truly stands out is his heart. John is always willing to help his teammates, volunteer when needed, and support others on and off the mats.

💪🥋 Mid-Week Training Spotlight: Damian & Fabian Quezada 🥋💪

Mid-week grind with two young men who truly represent what consistency and discipline look like — Damian and Fabian Quezada.

They started their journey at Anzelone Jiu-Jitsu Academy about 2 1/2 years ago, and the growth has been incredible to witness. From learning the basics to now moving with confidence, control, and purpose on the mats — their improvement speaks for itself.

They’ve shown that success doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from showing up, putting in the work, listening, staying disciplined, and trusting the process. Week after week, they continue to get better.

We are proud of the young men they are becoming — strong, respectful, focused, and committed. Keep grinding, Damian and Fabian. The journey is just getting started. 🔥

At just 3 years old, Sofia stepped onto the mats at Anzelone Jiu-Jitsu Academy — and she hasn’t looked back! 💛

From day one, she has shown courage, determination, and a big heart. She keeps up with the class, listens closely, and improves every single time she trains. Watching her confidence grow has been such a blessing.
