Edward Thomas Fudge III - Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Ed has used everything and anything within his reach to keep up with everyone he spars with, including but not limited to vibrating frequency forks, crystals, metal bracelets, red light therapy, and ayahuasca. He’s also known for his pranks and for always lightening the mood on and off the mats.

In between training he has gone on adventures around the world — he has ridden camels in Egypt, Lamborghinis in Japan, and llamas in Peru.

We are very proud of his achievement and to have him represent Newaza as a blue belt.

A huge shout-out goes to Alan Cantu for not only helping him prepare for his test, but also serving as his uke during his demonstration of technique.

Edward Thomas Fudge (51) has proved himself to his peers and has earned a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Blue Belt. Ed has been training mornings for 5 years to attain this achievement! 👊🏾
