Brownsville Sting Women's Full Contact Football Team and Community Service Organization

Our purpose is to provide community outreach and engagement by offering women of Brownsville the opportunity to improve their overall wellness, particularly physical health and fitness, and thereby reduce the effect of obesity and diabetes in the community through participation in the Brownsville Sting all female football team. In addition to participation in the football team, the community is invited to sport clinics, available at least twice a year at no cost, to improve their understanding of the game of football and to develop their understanding of their health.

The Brownsville Sting is RECRUITING NOW!!

This season, we will be competing against even more RGV teams... all while keeping it local!

The season begins in March but this is the perfect time to start getting your feet wet to see what women's football is all about - you are going to be HOOKED!

NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED and ALL FITNESS LEVELS ARE WELCOME!

There are many benefits to joining an RGV women's football team and we could go on talking about that for days - come out this Saturday, August 22nd at 10 am in Los Fresnos (running shoes only is just fine) and see it for yourself!

We know...It has been longggg overdue - Women's Basketball is FINALLY here!!!

Court and Core Athletics and So-Tex Women's Athletics has teamed up to bring something INCREDIBLE to the RGV!

We know you've been itching to get on the court and so have we!

Court and Core Athletics will run a 10 week and 1 playoff week women's basketball season in the McAllen area!

The end of season STING PARTY is always the perfect way to officially close out the season!

It was an amazing season and so many special memories were made. We thank everyone who supported us-either through spirit, donations, or service-and we are so grateful!

We are very excited for the expansion of women's football teams in the RGV and are proud and excited for our players who will be putting on some new colors next year!
