Congratulations to our HS team for their showing at Regional Governor’s Cup yesterday!

The Future Problem Solving Team, consisting of Makaila Palmer, Josie Denham, Ethan Pinet and Carter Koerner, came in second place!

Ethan also medaled in Social Studies and Thomas James medaled in Composition!

All these students will move on to compete at State next month!

Both our teams made out like gangbusters at their respective District Governor’s Cup competitions and are moving on to Regionals!

The Middle School Future Problem Solving team, made up of Daphne Bolton, Lincoln Hughes, Knox White and Jaxon Cook placed 1st.

Daphne Bolton: 4th in Language Arts

Lincoln Hughes: 5th in Math

At the high school level, every student who competed, medaled!

Thomas James: 1st in Composition and Social Studies, 2nd in Science,

Makalia Palmer: 1st in Language Arts, 5th in General Knowledge and Arts and Humanities

Ethan Pinet: 1st in General Knowledge, 2nd in Social Studies

Josie Denham: 2nd in Language Arts, 3rd in Arts and Humanities

Emma Durbin: 3rd in General Knowledge, 4th in Composition, 5th in Math

Raegan Howard 3rd in Science

Carter Koerner: 5th in Science and Social Studies

The FPS team, Josie Denham, Ethan Pinet, Makaila Palmer and Carter Koerner, came in 2nd.

The Quick Recall team, consisting of all team members, led by Thomas James, Ethan Pinet, Josie Denham and Makalia Palmer, also placed second, giving us a second place win over all and adding another fancy Kentucky trophy to our collection.

All these darlings will compete in the next couple of weeks at regionals with the goal of moving on to state competition at the Galt house in March!
