🚴 Ascutney Bicycle Hillclimb – Sept. 5
📍 Ascutney Mountain Road
⏰ Race starts at 10:30 AM
Come watch cyclists take on the climb up Mt. Ascutney!

🔭 Planet Sky Party – Sept. 8
📍 Ascutney Upper Parking Lot
⏰ 7:30 PM
Join the Southern Vermont Astronomy Group for an evening of stargazing through telescopes! See planets and meteors and learn about the night sky. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. 🌌

✨ “Honor Summit” Viewing – Sept. 11
📍 Meet at the Upper Parking Lot
⏰ 7:30 PM
Take an evening hike (about 0.7 miles) with the Park Interpreter to Ascutney’s observation platform to view the “Honor Summit” at Mt. Washington, honoring those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, as well as first responders and veterans. Bring a flashlight or headlamp.

⚠️ TOLL ROAD CLOSURES:
The Mt. Ascutney Toll Road will be closed the morning of Sept. 5 for the bicycle race and Friday, Sept. 11 through Sunday, Sept. 13 for motorsport racing.

Join us and VINS for a FREE program featuring live birds as we explore the incredible world of migration. Meet migrant raptors and resident birds while learning about the benefits and challenges of making a thousand-mile journey every year!

🌧️ Rain or shine!
The Picnic Pavilion is located about 1.5 miles up the Mt. Ascutney Toll Road. Parking will be on the left, with a short trail walk to the pavilion on the right.

🎟️ Program is FREE. Please note: there is a fee to drive up the toll road.
