We offer several services including personal training, men’s and women’s boot camps and of course, CrossFit training. MW Crossfit targets an extremely wide-ranged demographic spanning men and women of all ages - from rehabilitation clients through elite athletes. MW Crossfit is led by highly educated, experienced personal trainers who have a passion for health, fitness and helping others. Our new

clients quickly find out that we're very different from other gyms. We don't use much equipment (we prefer to train your body to move in the ways for which it was built). This approach is far from the industry standard, we know; that's fine with us. We enjoy the support of many physicians and chiropractors. Instead of parking you on a machine for an hour, our workouts and exercises improve the way you move, lessen your chance for injury, and help you live your life better. We are currently training in our facility located in the Light Industrial Park in Riverview MI. It's built for performance, our style of quick, intense workouts, and for an atmosphere of change and success. It feels like a Coliseum, because our workouts feel like events! If you're new to Crossfit, the first step is to stop by for a free chat with one of our coaches. No pressure; we're exercise professionals, not salespeople. Then we'll help you chart a path toward the person you'd like to be. That may include personal training, boot camps or small group CrossFit intro classes (the Starting Seven). Most clients will train three to four times per week. We always include a food plan for every client; it's part of your new lifestyle, after all. Our philosophy is to teach people to move better through practice; to use novelty and intensity to create a fun environment of constant progress; and to maintain education as our primary goal for both coaches and clients.

One of the biggest misconceptions we hear all the time about weight loss is that you have to give up the foods you love to make progress. You don’t. And you definitely don’t have to force yourself to eat foods you hate either.

We like to encourage an 80/20 rule of thumb. About 80% of the time, focus on nutritious and balanced meals that support your health goals (protein, carbs, healthy fats, fruits, vegetables, etc.). The other 20% leaves some wiggle room for life. Because consistency and flexibility beat striving for perfection every time.

A lot of people “fall off track” because they try to stick to an all-or-nothing approach that isn’t realistic. Sustainable habits > extreme restriction. You can enjoy all of the fun things in life AND still make progress towards your goals.

✅ Eating a balanced breakfast before work
✅ Packing a lunch instead of fast food
✅ Including a fruit or vegetable with each meal
✅ Drinking water throughout the day
✅ Having snacks that keep you full and have nutritional value

Health is built through patterns not perfection. Our nutrition coaches are here to remind you that the best diet is the one you can actually maintain long-term.

When you prioritize your nutrition, your body will reflect it in more ways than one. Good nutrition isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being intentional.

➡️ Eat regular meals
➡️ Build balanced plates (protein + carbs + fats)
➡️ Opt for whole, nutritious foods the most of the time

Start small, stay consistent. That’s what creates real change 💪🏽

•When did you start CrossFit?
> August of 2024 and I have been at Mighty Warrior since September 2025.
•What’s your favorite thing about Mighty Warrior or CrossFit?
> I love Mighty Warrior because of the welcoming, supportive environment. I love that I get to challenge myself to do hard things with people that have similar goals. I love that my daughter gets to have a mom that can keep up with her high energy and sometimes challenge her to also do hard things. I am 50 pounds down and now focused on maintaining while continuing to improve in strength and skill, and Mighty Warrior is exactly where I want to do it!
•One hobby outside of CrossFit?
> Is it bad if I say CrossFit is my hobby? LOL! I do enjoy spending time with my family and 2 Australian Shepards. I also enjoy baking with my daughter.
•What’s one of your goals for the next year, fitness or otherwise?
> In the next year, I want to continue to improve in my strength and skills overall. I plan to continue to embrace the awesome community at Mighty Warrior and challenge myself to continue to grow as a person holistically.

Our 4 Week Holistic Wellness Program is built on four key pillars: Nutrition, Mindset, Sleep, and Exercise. Why? Because exercise challenges your body while nutrition fuels it, sleep and recovery rebuild it, and mindset keeps you consistent.
