🚀 dragster, old friends, & smart moves.
We were the 3rd fastest (and only 1 of 3 cars to make it down) in Q2 today. We decided to sit out Q3 as track conditions weren’t improving and save parts for tomorrow and race day. We’re still sitting #4 with plans to improve on our 3.77 run from last night.

I also met Terry Birchette who made this awesome custom scaled rocket dragster. Excited to mess around either this car and see how fast we can get it!

Jianna Evaristo and I were also surprised with a super thoughtful gift from Christopher Williams! He custom designed these special patches for each of us❤️ I definitely think we need to get some t-shirt with these designs on them!

Excited to get two solid and fast laps in tomorrow to set the field for race day on Monday!

A few weeks back I did a photoshoot with MORE Magazine at Lucas Oil IRP! And now I’m back this weekend racing at The Big Go! It’s 4 days of nonstop racing with big championship implications on the line. Since we’re not eligible to chase championships, we’re looking to shake things up for everyone else🥊

It’s the biggest Drag Race of the year! We’ve got 𝔍𝔞𝔰𝔪𝔦𝔫𝔢 𝔖𝔞𝔩𝔦𝔫𝔞𝔰 | Race Car Driver back in Top Fuel this weekend and she’s excited to get back to all of the action. Jianna Evaristo is currently recovering from an off-track injury and made the hard (but smart) decision to sit out this race to recover properly. She’ll still be at the track this weekend so send our drivers all your love and good vibes💕

20 years of Drag Racing❤️
I’ve always believed that in order to know where you’re headed, you have to stay grounded in where you’ve been. While my actual time in the driver’s seat has been on and off over the past 2 decades (college, moving to new cities, trying new jobs, traveling to new countries), I’ve pretty much spent a large portion of my life so far at racetrack. Sometimes we’re so focused on trying to make “the dream” happen—get the big sponsor, race full-time, win🏆. But if we step back for a few minutes, you end up realizing how much you used to dream about being exactly where you’re at right now.

July was crazy! But 3 weeks on the West Coast felt like heaven. Our first race was in Sonoma which was such a special weekend on so many levels. My entire family came out to the track, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and old friends. It can feel really lonely sometimes racing on the other side of the country and not really knowing anyone. So coming back to California and feeling all of the love from everyone meant the world! We lost in the final round, and I’m trying to balance gratitude for what we accomplished with the drive to not settle for 2nd best.

After Sonoma, we went up to Seattle where we continued our racing momentum. Friday night’s provisional #1 Qualifier run didn’t stick on Saturday, but we won a watch and I made it to another final round in the Mission Foods shootout. We ended race day with a 💥 and there’s a lot of crispy things (including my fire suit) that we need to replace on the race car.

Then, we flew back to California to spend a week with the family. It mostly consisted of pre-school pickups, swapping car seats, and trying to find toddler and stroller friendly spots. But my most favorite thing in the world is being a Tante to my two nephews and seeing how much they’ve grown every time I come back home❤️
