Hutto Racing is a multigenerational Houston based team with a rich history within the sport of drag racing. Starting with Jimmie Hutto Sr.'s founding of Hutto Racing in the mid 1960’s, we have been a successful drag racing team for the past 50 years. passed the torch down to Jimmie Hutto Jr. who has had an immensely successful career in the NHRA and IHRA Stock Eliminator category. r.'s son Justin began his career with instant success while he made his rookie debut in the Jr. In 2013 Justin reached a landmark in his career as he was awarded his first series championship and he plans to collect many more in the future. Although Hutto Racing spans through multiple eras of the sport, the constant theme within three generations of racers in the Hutto family is a devotion to their passion and a resolute work ethic for consistent success.

In-car of the e2 W last night. First time 7.0 index racing was going great before I got timed out for the first time in my 17 years of racing… before a tentative bye to the finals. We’ll find a few more to hit with the Firebird to practice up ahead of the US Nationals in Indy - Justin

Indy recap —-> we got down to the final 8 cars in our class capped at 150 racers from as far the UK. After a .006 light, we blew up our second engine of the weekend to end our U.S. Nats campaign: oddball circumstances both times.

After an engine swap & getting torn down by tech, we were all excited to seal the deal!

We’ll get ‘em next time.
