HEAT UPDATE — RESCHEDULED GAMES CANCELED ⚽☀️

Our Board has been closely monitoring the Heat Index and weather conditions. Based on the Indiana Soccer Hot Weather Guidelines, the safety of our players and coaches is always our top priority.

With that in mind, all rescheduled games scheduled for tonight and tomorrow evening will be CANCELED.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and completely understand the frustration that comes with having rescheduled games canceled. We know families have worked hard to rearrange schedules and make these games happen, just as our Board Members have. However, when it comes to extreme heat, we feel it is important to err on the side of caution and put the safety of our players and coaches first.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we make these decisions with the well-being of our soccer community in mind.

Stay cool, hydrated, and safe! Enjoy some well-deserved time with your family!

HOT WEATHER REMINDER

As temperatures rise, we want to remind all of our coaches, players, and parents that we follow Indiana Soccer’s Hot Weather Guidelines to help keep our athletes safe.

🚨 A Heat Index of 104°F or higher requires all outdoor activity to stop. Like today😉

TAKE CARE OF YOUR CHILD. If your player isn’t feeling well, is showing signs of heat distress, or simply needs a break, please speak up! No game or practice is more important than their health and safety.

Our Board will monitor the Heat Index and let your coach know AS SOON as a decision about games on Wednesday and Thursday is made.

Please remember: parents know their children best. If you feel your child needs to sit out, cool down, or go home, we support that decision, just let their coach know.

Our goal is to keep our coaches and players safe, hydrated, and having fun! ⚽

⛈️ WEATHER UPDATE ⛈️

At this time, due to the weather and health of the field, all games currently being played will continue unless lightning is seen or detected.

All remaining games beginning at 10:30 AM and later are CANCELLED.

We’re so excited we were able to get a handful of games in today! ⚽️💙 We truly appreciate all of our players and families who made their way to the fields and made sure their kiddos got to play!

At this time, the 9:30 AM and 9:45 AM games are ON until the next weather break.

Please understand that if lightning comes within a 10-mile radius of the fields, we will have to cancel and move everyone off the fields for safety for the next 30mins. ⚡️

Bring your boots, rain jacket, and maybe an extra outfit for your player change into after their game —the fields are going to be a little squishy! 🌧️

We’re hoping to get a handful of games in before the next weather break this afternoon! 🤞⚽️
