It was a week to remember for us in the Watkins Glen International 6 Hours:

After starting last in class and overcoming about 12 minutes worth of damage, Joe Torres and Garry Wells II finished 2nd overall (second picture) in the 8am ET time slot on Saturday.

WLT2 capped off the weekend with a win in the 6 Hours at The Glen (left picture). This car was driven by Anthony Campbell and Paul Irvin. Our team absolutely dominated the first leading 110/190 laps in the 6 hours and won by 5 laps.

This caps off an incredible weekend where we entered 3 cars and all 3 cars finished no worse than 4th place! Congrats to everyone on the team for all their hard work this weekend and we will see you in the next race!

Results from the iNRS Cup Series at NASCAR San Diego:

P9- Alec Daffin (Started 5th, Accident)
P11- Joe Torres (Started 17th, DNF)

Alec crashed while racing for the lead though limped around after repairs to get a top 10. Meanwhile, Joe had a separate incident while being in contention for a top 5 which put him out of the race and just outside the top 10 in the final results. We will be in wine country next week.

Results from the opening race of the North Star Grand National Series at Pocono Raceway:

P6- Garry Wells II (Started 38th)
P13- Zachary Taylor (Started 37th)
P17- Paul Irvin (Started 7th, Accident)
P20- Jacob Helmly (Started 13th, Technical Issue)
P22- Brian Delp (Started 17th, Accident)
P36- Anthony Campbell (Started 18th, Accident)

Our results were very mixed as about 44% of the race was ran under caution. Garry brought home a solid top 10 finish with Zach not too far behind in the top 15. Paul was in the top 5 with 10 to go but got involved in incidents late in the race. Jacob had his power go out with 5 to go while in the top 5 and finished a lap down. Brian was involved in an incident early on and he limped around most of the race. Lastly, Anthony never really got his race going and was involved with several incidents on the first lap of the race. Our next race is at Naval Base Coronado in San Diego.

Results from the iNRS O’Reilly Series at NASCAR San Diego:

P3- Alec Daffin (Started 2nd, 22 Laps Led, Stage Winner, Fastest Lap)
P7- Grady Gerken (Started 6th, Spin)
P11- Joe Torres (Started 12th, DNF)

Alec led the charge with a podium finish after being out front for a lot of the race. Grady had a spin into pit road due to a bizarre wall contact though still brought home P7. Lastly, Joe had a crash during the stage caution which resulted in terminal damage. More to come!

Paul and Mitch brought home a pair of top 15 finishes for us while Anthony and Garry were just outside the top 20 when the checkered flag flew. next week we head to San Diego to race on Naval Base Coronado.

Here is how it all went down in the Northstar Cup Series at Michigan International Speedway:

P14- Anthony Campbell (Started 13th, 2 pts in Stage 1)
P21- Jacob Helmly (Started 30th, -31 Laps)
P25- Garry Wells II (Started 5th, -69 Laps)

It was certainly a rough night for the squad. While Anthony toughed it out for a top 15, both Jacob and Garry finished outside the top 20 many laps down. We will look to rebound at Pocono.

Results from last week’s iNRS O’Reilly Series race at Pocono Raceway:

P2- Alec Daffin (Started 2nd, 24 Laps Led, Stage Winner, Fastest Lap)
P6- Grady Gerken (Started 6th)

Alec came back from a few mishaps to score runner up while Grady just missed out on a top 5. Joe was an unfortunate victim of a late race crash which put him outside the top 10. We will be ready to roll at San Diego!

It was an up and down night for the squad in iNRS Cup at Michigan International Speedway:

P7- Alec Daffin (Started 18th, 2 Laps Led)
P8- Joe Torres (Started 15th, 4 Laps Led)
P26- Garry Wells II (Started 20th, DNF)
P29- Paul Irvin (Started 8th, DNF)

Alec led the charge with a long awaited top 10 and Joe was six one thousandths of a second and one position behind. Garry and Paul were unfortunately both collected in race ending crashes before halfway. We head to Pocono next.

For one last time the guys took on Nashville Superspeedway, this time in the Northstar Cup Series:

P7- Paul Irvin (Started 5th, 7 Laps Led)
P14- Anthony Campbell (Started 6th, -5 Laps)
P15- Jacob Helmly (Started 14th, -13 Laps)
P19- Garry Wells II (Started 13th, -93 Laps DNF)

Paul led a few laps and brought home a top 10. The rest of the squad finished multiple laps down due to accidents, including Garry who had an unfortunate DNF. We will be at Michigan next week.
