✨ Big News from The Impertinent Woman ✨

I’m excited to let you know that The Impertinent Woman has been accepted as a vendor for the 2026 season at the Bradley County Farmers Market!

Starting this Saturday, you’ll find me there every Saturday from 7:00 AM – Noon with handcrafted teas, ritual oils, bath salts, and all the other beautifully impertinent things I’ve been creating.

As a small business owner, there’s something special about being part of a community that values local makers, growers, and dreamers. I attended the vendor meeting this evening and had the chance to meet some incredible farmers and fellow vendors. The passion, knowledge, and hard work in that space was inspiring, and I’m so honored to be part of it.

So if you’ve been wanting to smell the blends, sample the teas, ask questions, or simply say hello, come see me on Saturday mornings. And while you’re there, be sure to support the amazing local farmers and vendors who make this market such a special place. 💜

This quote stopped me in my tracks.

The truth is, I’ve never feared the dark.

I’ve always loved the dark. The witchy. The gothic. The mysterious.

What I’ve feared is what I’ve hidden inside of myself:

The doubts.
The old wounds.
The stories I tell myself about who I am and what I’m capable of.

Maybe that’s what shadow work really is.

Not learning to love the darkness around us, but learning to face the darkness within us with honesty and compassion.

The parts of ourselves we’ve tucked away because they’re uncomfortable, still healing, and waiting to be understood.

Lately, I’ve been learning that those shadows aren’t my enemy, but a part of my story…and every time I choose to look at them instead of run from them, I discover a little more of who I truly am.
