It’s hard to put into words, but Wesley Corado has done an impressive amount of work to make himself ready for competition. He started at over 230lbs and just kept working towards his goals.

He has a crazy work schedule and often times sacrifices sleep so he can be at training. He has to drive to lubbock for training in top of that.

So for him to get a short notice call about a fight opportunity didn’t require much thought. He accepted it pretty quick.
We went to Hinton with one expectation: bring the fight!

Winning and losing will always take care of itself. The unnecessary stress and anxiety that comes with trying to predetermin the outcome is exhausting at minimum.

Wes’ biggest opponent is the battle he fights against himself. We be that this time and the results were evident. The aggression Wes brings into a fight is normal and powerful. Often he’s the one no one wants to spar with because he gets in “that zone”!! I always remind him that I am on his side before we spar.

Congratulations Wes. TKO in 1st round.

You’ve done so good in training and it shows in everything you do outside of the gym.
