“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

Sometimes we become frustrated because we aren’t where we think we should be.
We look at other people’s lives and wonder why their progress seems faster. We question God when doors don’t open, prayers don’t seem answered, or the path ahead doesn’t look the way we imagined.
But God is not asking you to race someone else’s race.
Be patient.
What God is building in you may take time. Some things require preparation before they require promotion. Some seasons are meant to strengthen you before God moves you into something new.
Do it for you.
Don’t change because you need other people’s approval. Don’t become stronger just to prove someone wrong. Become stronger because God is calling you to become the person He created you to be.
Your growth doesn’t need an audience.
Trust the process.
You may not understand every setback, delay, or closed door right now. But God can use all of it. What feels like a delay may actually be preparation. What feels like an ending may be the beginning of something you couldn’t see yet.
And above everything else:
Trust in God.
You don’t have to have the entire road mapped out. You only need enough faith to take the next step.
God sees what you cannot see. He knows what you don’t know. And He is not finished with you.
Be patient with yourself.
Do the work for the right reasons.
Trust the process, even when you can’t see the outcome.
And trust God, even when you don’t understand what He’s doing.
Your timeline is not God’s timeline.
Keep going.
Keep growing.
Keep praying.
What God is doing in you is worth the wait.
Father, help me be patient with myself and with the process You have placed me in. When I feel behind, remind me that I don’t have to compare my journey to anyone else’s. Give me the strength to keep working, the wisdom to know when to wait, and the faith to trust You when I cannot see what comes next. Help me become the person You created me to be—not for the approval of others, but for Your purpose. I trust You with my timing, my future, and my life. Amen.
