Days like this are rarer than black diamonds, unicorns in the wild. I was so honored to have my instructor CM.Jay Kohl, visit my school today. He summoned together members of his Milwaukee Legacy for a once in a lifetime workout. It was so great working out with these amazing people many I hadn't seen for a few years under the guidance of our legacy instructor. It's always so inspiring to kick, punch, yell and sweat with members of your martial arts family. Especially when it has been years since you have seen some of them. What a great day. Masters Training, Wednesday, StriveTraining, Thursday,Masters competition on Friday and judging Creative and Xtreme. Saturday judging all traditional forms, weapons,combat and sparring events. And the icing on the cake. Seeing CM. Scott Skiles in his blues. For me that was a first.

Last night was our promotion ceremony. Even though we are still dealing with the clean up from the recent flooding life must go on. I want to thank Dr. Angela Ford(Medusa) and Ms. Catherine Williams(Granny) for making our school that is still shambles look presentable for this event. You're like air to me. Thank you for helping me breathe.
Congratulation to all our members that advanced in rank especially our newest second degree Ms. Isharra Collier (Monarch) and our newest black belt candidate Mr. Oluwadarasimi Ogunbowale train hard and know your journey is only beginning. Welcome to the next level.

Commendation to The Masters Moh and the members of LVUP Martial arts. You guys are truly CLASS A, the regional tournament you hosted this weekend was truly beyond the belt. For many of the students, this was their first tournament. The overall experience for them was priceless. I cannot forget the excellence of the regional tournament staff, lead by the Master Jim Wade. The force is truly with you. Making these events run smoothly, is mission possible. To all our regional seniors you are the epitome of leadership. And last but not least the leader of leaders, the Master of Masters presiding GM. M.k. Lee ,the living example of caring, compassionate leadership. Thank you for being so approachable and giving of your time.
