The Brown City Golf Team still has plenty of air fresheners available for their fundraiser. They are $14 for a pack of 4 (vanilla bean, watermelon sorbet, fresh and clean, and leather). The Brown City Golf season came to an end today at regionals. We finished in 7th place out of 19 teams. The top 3 teams move on to states as well as the top individual golfers not on those teams. Our top golfer today was Steven Davis finishing with an 81. He tied two other golfers for that third spot. The three golfers competed in a playoff and unfortunately Steven was knocked out on the second playoff hole. It was a very exciting day, and all the boys represented BC golf well!

Congratulations to Croswell-Lexington with a 301 team score finishing in first place and Armada with a 318 team score finishing as the runner up at the Brown City Golf Invitational. We had a total of 102 golfers take part today and thirteen of them shot under 80 with the top individual golfer shooting a 74. The five golfers that represented Brown City all shot under 100 shooting 88, 94, 95, 97 and 98 for 18 holes. Our team score was a 374 allowing us to finish in 14th place out of 21 teams. There was a lot of great golf played today and I am extremely proud of how our boys played.

It was a tight one today in Ubly, finishing in 4th place today at our jamboree, 4 strokes out of first place. Our top golfer finished 3rd individually. Team score of 189. We are definitely looking forward to Wednesday's jamboree. Nice job today.

The group shot a 185 today, one stroke behind yesterday's round finishing in 5th place. We have another match on Friday at Bird Creek in Port Austin. Today we had some ups and downs but still pulled out a decent team score with some shooting their personal best scores. This is a fun group to watch for sure.

The first Big Thumb Conference Black Division Jamboree is in the books. We finished in 4th place with our best team score of 184. Our goal is to shoot in the 170's and push those top teams. Nice job today. The Brown City Jamboree is on deck for tomorrow.
