TOMORROW NIGHT!

Calling all Jaguars! Drop all your plans and head over to Broomfield Commons for the biggest race of the season...THE JAGUAR TWILIGHT!

This is the one home race of the season for the team and it's at a perfect time to get out and support the team. Oh...and it's FREE!

The girls' race starts at 6:15pm and the boys will follow at 6:50pm.

The Jags are on the road today! Softball heads to Peak to Peak for a 4:30pm game. The volleyball looks for the 7th straight win at Weld Central! 6:30pm start.

The varsity golf team continued its season with a 7th place finish yesterday at Meadows Golf Club in Littleton.

Sophomore Teague Murrey finished in 18th place with a 76. Despite his four birdies, three on the back 9, Murrey missed the Top 10 by two strokes. Senior Ben Pederson finished in 36th with an 85. Pederson sank three birdies on the day.

With only a couple of tournaments left, the Jags will need to turn it back up to finish on top. Currently, two Jaguars are poised for State: Murrey and Pederson. They are 18th and 44th, respectively.

The boys soccer team put another notch in the win column last night, thrashing the Tigers from Holy Family, 5-1. The win puts the Jags at 4-0-1 overall, with a couple of non-league games to knock out before league play.

Leading the way for the Jags was Arnel Mehidic (So) with a hat trick. It was Mehidic's first three-goal varsity game for the Jags. Juniors Matteo Gagliano and Elliott Parks added a goal each. Senior Mason Spicer continues to put the ball right where it needs to be, racking up two assists. Senior Ian Breheny added an assist in the win.

SIX IN A ROW FOR THE JAGS!

This year's volleyball team is slayin'. With another three-set win last night, the Jags are starting to raise some eyebrows across the state. The win moves the team into the state's Top 40 (37).

Junior Georgia Miller had one heck of a match, leading the team in kills with 12. She also added three blocks and two aces. Senior Ravel LaBerge continues to shine on the court. She had four aces and 23 assists.

The win lifts the Jags to 7-1 on the season. They head to Weld Central tomorrow. Their next home game is on the 29th versus Peak To Peak.

The softball team added another win on Thursday against Englewood! The Jags put up 18 runs on eight hits in the rout.

Junior Daelin Ruff went 3-4 and was a home run short of the cycle. She also had two RBIs. Freshman Belen Gallardo went 2-2 with a double and Briella Nelson (So) also went 2-2 with a double and an RBI. Senior Jordyn Freel added three RBIs in the win.

Gallardo threw another great game, striking out six of the 13 batters faced and only allowing two hits and two earned runs over three innings.

Tonight, the team hosts Alameda for a 4:30pm game!

The golf team has a pretty big day!

This afternoon, the team heads to Meadows Golf Club for a Metro League Tournament. The Jags have five seeded golfers today: Teague Murrey (So), Ben Pederson (Sr), Asher Calkins (So), Gavin Provost (So), and Eli Schlatter (Sr). Also appearing for the Jags are Jaren Berry (Fr), Caed Melville (Fr), and Aiden Cornier (Jr).

The Jags head to D'Evelyn for the CLASH OF THE JAGUARS! Tonight's match pits the Jaguars of D'Evelyn against the Jaguars of Jefferson Academy. Game time is at 6:30pm.

The Jags took care of business on Thursday night against the Valley Vikings, pushing their record to 6-1. In the 3-1 win, the Jags racked up 37 kills over three sets. Leading the team was Emily Neptune (Jr) with 14, followed by Emma Purcelli (Jr) with eight and Kat Shadrach (Sr) with seven. Shadrach added three aces in the win. Neptune's 55 kills on the season put her 4th in Metro and 15th in 3A.

Senior Ravel LaBerge continues to rack up the assists this season. She added 34 in Thursday night's win for a season total of 114. LaBerge is 3rd in Metro and 13th in 3A.

IT'S GAME DAY!

Tonight, the Jags return home to face the Tigers from Holy Family. Kickoff for tonight's non-league game is at 6:30pm.

The Jags are coming off a 3-0 win against Wheat Ridge on Friday night. Netting goals for the Jags were Seniors Seth Lane and Jack Kane. Sophomore Arnel Mehidic also scored. For the first time this season, Senior Trevor Chichirico was truly tested in goal and, as expected, rose to the occasion, making six saves and getting the shutout.

Holy Family, a 4A team, is currently 2-2-1 with wins against Green Mountain and Arrupe Jesuit. They're coming off a loss to undefeated 5A Grandview last week.

Lots of opportunities to support the Jaguars this week!

The highlight of the week? The high school cross country team hosts the Jaguar Twilight on Friday evening. The race is at Broomfield Commons. Come out and support the Jags during their home meet!

We also have soccer, volleyball, and softball at home this week!
