Reigning William Hyndman, III Player of the Year Drue Nicholas of Merion Golf Club continued his trajectory of GAP Major success by earning medalist honors in Stroke-Play Qualifying for the 126th BMW Philadelphia Amateur Championship.

He carded a 4-under-par 138 total at Sunnybrook Golf Club (69) and The 1912 Club (69).

Round-of-32 matches begin at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The BMW Philadelphia Amateur Championship brings the best out of Drue Nicholas.🏅

The reigning Amateur champion and Merion Golf Club member carded an 4-under-par 138 total to take Stroke-Play Qualifying medalist honors at Sunnybrook Golf Club (69) and The 1912 Club (69).

A 10-for-9 playoff will take place to determine the final qualifying positions.
