PLAYOFF GAME VS MONITEAU

We didn't get the outcome we wanted but we are so proud of these girls and how hard they had to work to get to the playoffs this year.
It had been 4 years since Lady Raider Softball had a playoff appearance. It didn't come easy for them but they did it!!!
To say we are proud of them is an understatement.

To put it into perspective of how difficult of a road it was, Brookville is a 2A team. We played several 3A, 4A, and 5A teams. It was a hard season for the girls going up against those teams but they persevered and won games when they needed to.
No other 2A team has the rough schedule that we do. So these girls need to be proud of themselves for what they accomplished this season!!
The amount of growth on this team this year is nothing short of amazing. What an awesome group of girls.
People are noticing Lady Raider Softball!! Let's keep giving them something to talk about!!

For some of the negative “talk” that has been happening here are some amazing stats for the team so far this year compared to last year!!

•7 WINS this year vs 2 WINS last year

•3 girls hitting .400 this year vs 1 last year

•2 girls hitting over .300 this year vs 0 last year

•Team avg last year .232 vs .315 this year

•Oh and our team SLG last year was .300 vs .425 this year (a lot of hits were needed to increase this)

All this was done with a team that faced a lot of adversity. With SEVERAL injuries and other school activities girls have had to play in many different positions.
And don’t forget this is still a very young team and they all are still learning.
They have worked really hard to become a team and get to this point. They have fought for every win they got. They play some really tough teams during the season that are hard to compete with but they don’t let that get them down.
So if you see one of the players be sure to congratulate them on a season well played.

The coaching staff is very proud of them and you should be too.

Now to get ready for PLAYOFFS!!!
