Republicans need to turn out to vote like never before. It would send a clear message about the future of this great country. https://www.facebook.com/share/18HTv7tht3/?mibextid=wwXIfr
Bo Loudon, the 19-year-old conservative influencer known as “Trump’s Young G*n” and a close friend of Barron Trump, posted a message this week urging Republicans to turn out for the midterms, built around President Trump’s age and workload.
In the post, Loudon wrote that if Trump, at 80, can save the United States, save the Republican Party, give hundreds of millions of his own dollars, run the country, and hold several rallies a day for over a month, the least Republicans can do is show up and vote.
The appeal lands amid genuine anxiety inside the party. At the Republican National Committee’s midterm convention in Dallas, strategists openly discussed an enthusiasm gap, with Democrats showing more motivation to vote and flipping seats in elections held since 2024.
Party committees and Trump’s MAGA, Inc. super PAC are reportedly sitting on hundreds of millions of dollars they have yet to spend on ads, even as Democratic candidates in several competitive races have outraised and outspent their Republican opponents.
Loudon has spent the past two years positioning himself as a youth messenger for Trump, appearing on Fox News and British television to argue that young, online audiences respond to a different kind of outreach than traditional campaign ads.
His latest post fits that same playbook: casting Trump’s schedule and spending as proof of personal sacrifice, and translating that into a direct ask of the party’s base ahead of November’s midterm elections.
Whether the message moves turnout remains to be seen. Republican officials in Dallas acknowledged that Trump remains both their best asset for mobilizing voters and, given his approval ratings, one of their biggest liabilities in competitive races.
