All four corners of the field. 40% of the field is ready. This is the first growing season of our seeded turf grass field. We need a baseline to build off of. This time is taking a little longer than anticipated. The head field manager Juan is working daily to push a safe playing surface that will hold up to heavy traffic.

The seeded Bermuda from last year is coming in aggressively and the new seed is popping (13 days from dropping seed). Bermuda seed has a typical germination period of 7-21 days. Bermuda grass is a hot weather grass that thrives with humidity and full blazing heat. With 1 week left of our regular soccer season, we hope to have this space immaculate within 5 weeks. ✌️

We look forward to summer sessions under the lights and some pool time after!

End of March we nuked our winter rye grass and scalped all growth above surface. This is in preparation to bring the existing Bermuda grass out of dormancy and seed with a quality Turf Grass.
