Last night was a special one.🔥 I was promoted to brown belt in jiu-jitsu!🥋🟫⬜️⬛️ The belt ceremony at Primal Striking and Bjj was awesome and I really enjoyed seeing all my friends and training partners get leveled up! Congrats to everyone!!🫡
This belt was special to me because it represented a combination of efforts.📚 Not just hard training- sweat, blood, bruises and grit; but mental dedication and fortitude- working from bad positions and on late escapes, studying technique to improve the craft and my coaching abilities, trying to balance work and life responsibilities, overcoming the setbacks and the injuries. That said, I'm super grateful to my coaches Justin Terrell and Joe Formiga Cortez and for all my training partners throughout the years who have helped me unlock my potential in and out of the gym.🙏 None of this journey is possible without you guys🤍💙💜🤎🖤

Yesterday we had a really fun time getting ready for the race and setting up the stations! And these runners EARNED those candy canes!🎅 💪💪
It was a great night to enjoy the lights, get some miles in and celebrate the holidays and fitness!🎁

It was a beautiful morning for a run!🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Today was the first Hernando Hustle 5k put on by the Chamber of Commerce! Congrats to all the finishers!👏This race was alot of fun to do as a team & everyone who ran did amazing!🙌 I couldn't be happier with the JJF Bootcamp crew's performance & results, you're all incredible & we came to race today!🫡 Great job everyone, have an awesome weekend & see you on Monday!👊
