Feeling grateful to be included among Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Instructors.

It’s a privilege to teach the game I love and to share it with so many wonderful students and friends. None of this would be possible without the support of my family and the incredible community at Caves Valley Golf Club.

The Pitch & Run ⛳️

One of my favorite short game shots to play off tight lies around the green!

To hit this shot, grab your sand wedge and position the ball slightly back of center in your stance. This lets you squeeze the ball off the turf for that crisp, low-trajectory strike.

As you make your swing, notice there’s no attempt to help the ball into the air — just solid contact. The backswing travels higher than the follow-through, producing a low trajectory that lands with plenty of spin to get you close to the hole. 👌
