Congratulations to Sophomore Kyndall Johnson on breaking a school record and launching her 13th home run of the season in last nights district game against Mason County. It was a 2 run shot in the bottom of the 5th in a come back effort, but ultimately ended up falling short in the end 3-2.

Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears Defeat Robertson County On Multiple Hit Performance By Jenna Colvin

Jenna Colvin collected three hits in three at bats, as Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears defeated Robertson County 17-2 on Wednesday. Colvin singled in the second inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the first inning.

Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears scored 11 runs in the second inning on the way to victory. Kinley Sutton singled, scoring two runs, Kyndall Johnson drew a walk, scoring one run, Colvin drew a walk, scoring one run, Jordan Ahrens drew a walk, scoring one run, Ella Burton drew a walk, scoring one run, Addyson Tucker hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Sutton drew a walk, scoring one run, Johnson singled, scoring two runs, and Colvin singled, scoring one run.

Robertson County opened the scoring in the first after Buckler drew a walk, scoring one run.

Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the third inning. Tucker doubled, scoring two runs, Marleigh Randolph drew a walk, scoring one run, Johnson drew a walk, scoring one run, and Colvin singled, scoring one run.

Rees Hargett earned the win for Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears. The right-handed pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking one. Flack took the loss for Robertson County. The starting pitcher went one inning, giving up nine runs (eight earned) on three hits, striking out none and walking six. Tajsia Little stepped in the circle first for Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears. The pitcher allowed zero hits and two runs over one-third of an inning, striking out one and walking five.

Johnson and Sutton each drove in three runs for Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears. Tucker collected two hits for Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears in two at bats. Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears had patience at the plate, tallying 11 walks for the game. Johnson and Burton led the team with two bases on balls each. Colvin, Johnson, and Burton each stole multiple bases for Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears. Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears stole 10 bases in the game.

Robertson County had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game.

Ella Burton Drives In 4 To Lead Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears Past Holy Cross

Ella Burton drove in four runs on three hits to lead Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears past Holy Cross 16-1 on Monday. Burton doubled in the second inning, scoring two runs, and doubled in the third inning, scoring one.

Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears got on the board in the top of the first inning after Jordan Ahrens hit a sacrifice fly, and Burton grounded out, each scoring one run.

Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears scored five runs on four hits in the top of the second inning. Jenna Colvin singled, scoring two runs, Burton doubled, scoring two runs, and Addyson Tucker hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears added to their early lead in the top of the third inning when Ahrens singled, scoring two runs, Burton doubled, scoring one run, and Rees Hargett singled, scoring one run.

Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears scored five runs on four hits in the top of the fourth inning. Kyndall Johnson doubled, scoring two runs, Colvin grounded out, scoring one run, Ahrens hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Hargett singled, scoring one run.

Hargett earned the win for Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears. The hurler gave up four hits and one run over four innings, striking out six and walking one. Jadyn Jones took the loss for Holy Cross. The starter went four innings, giving up 16 runs (13 earned) on 16 hits, striking out none and walking two.

Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears tallied 16 hits in the game. Ahrens and Burton were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in four runs for Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears. Hargett led Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears with four hits in four at bats. Colvin and Johnson each collected multiple hits for Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears. Johnson stole two bases. Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears ran wild on the base paths, amassing four stolen bases for the game. Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Tucker made the most plays with three.

#10 went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. #10, #11, #2, and Jayden Cox each collected one hit for Holy Cross.

Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears will travel to Pendleton County for their next game on Tuesday.

Kyndall Johnson drove in five runs on two hits to lead Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears past Scott 16-4 on Friday. In the fifth inning, Johnson hit a grand slam to center field.

Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears got on the board in the bottom of the third inning after Jordan Ahrens walked, Ella Burton hit a sacrifice fly, Rees Hargett singled to center field, Addyson Tucker singled down the left field line, Presley Johnson grounded out, and Lauren Ruark walked, each scoring one run.

Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears scored six runs on five hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Ruark singled, scoring one run, Marleigh Randolph singled, scoring one run, and Johnson hit a grand slam to center field.

Tucker started in the circle for Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears. The starting pitcher gave up one hit and two runs over three innings, striking out three and walking four. Eli Wilson started in the circle for Scott. The starter allowed six hits and six runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking four. Hargett appeared in relief for Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears.

Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears tallied 15 hits in the game. Burton went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears in hits. Randolph, Hargett, and Tucker each collected multiple hits for Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears. Bracken County Varsity Lady Bears worked the count all day, amassing five walks.

Jaydyn Corbin went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Scott in hits.

Kyndall with a grand slam off the left field flag pole tonight to walk it off in the bottom of the 5th. The girls get a big win on senior night defeating Scott High 16-4. That makes her 12th home run of the season tying the school record previously set last year by Whitney Lippert.
