Effective May 26, 2026, the county-wide burn ban has been lifted for Hernando County.

Hernando County has seen a reduced number of brush fire responses in recent weeks, along with adequate rainfall accumulations resulting in a drop in the Keetch-Byram Drought Index. As a result, citizens are now free to resume outdoor burning within the setbacks and regulations established by the Florida Forest Service - Withlacoochee Forestry Center.

Who's going to need a new outside waistband holster being we will be an open carry state as of the 25th of this month?
I will also be stocking level 2 holsters. For those who don't know what I'm referring too the level 2 holster has a release that you must press to get the gun out of the holster.
