Hunting Season: Each Wildlife Management Area in Florida is different and has its own rules. Hunting with a tree stand is permitted during hunting season, again depending on the management area. The tree stands are not usually allowed to be there until a day before the hunting season starts and should be removed after the season has concluded. Many of the Wildlife Management Areas across our state are open to multiple user groups which does at times cause conflict. These areas are meant to be shared and respected by each user group keeping safety in mind at all times. We recommend your users to go to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission webpage at https://myfwc.com/ and review their link regarding hunting. Their site also has a link to every brochure for any wildlife management area in the state that the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission manages which lists the season dates for any hunting permitted on the particular wildlife management area allowing the individual to choose when they want to be on that particular management area.
