Currently on quite the "heater" in preparation for his Under-23 World Championship berth this coming October; the Elite Wrestling Academy pupil's gold medal today comes on the heels of a Top-3 showing at the U.S. Senior Open and a hardware-hoisting effort at the U23 Nationals!!!
His finals bout on Saturday being a rematch of a head-to-head showdown that he previously won 9-0 during pool-play against Mexico's ๐๐๐๐๐ซ ๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ข ๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐จ; the completion of the sweep did not materialize nearly as easily!!!
Trailing 2-0 (only points he allowed all tournament; 31-2 margin) at the break after allowing a 1st periof takedown...
Artsisheuskiy would rally for a 6-0 run during the last 3:00, including a caution +1 for passivity and a pair of 2pt gut-wrenches in the closing 64 seconds of regulation to seize the 6-2 decision versus Saldana Bernardino (2025 U17 World Team Member; 3x Pan-American Age-Group Medalist/2x Runner-up)!!!
His comeback in the finale being the only occasion in which Adrian saw the 2nd period in any of his outings; in addition to the already referenced 9-0 superiority [over Saldana Bernardino] to clinch the top spot in the pool; he'd also bank respectively 8-0 TFs at the expense of Panama'a ๐๐๐ง๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ง and ๐๐๐ฒ๐๐ค๐ข ๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ณ๐จ๐ง ๐

Already leading Brown (2025 Pan-American Games 5th; 025 Central American and Caribbean Games Runner-up), 4-0, in his kickoff appearance after scoring 2+2 on a Takedown + gut during the initial 1:00 of action; the 2021 Journeymen State Bronze Medalist out of Midwood put the bout to bed when he struck for a 4-point dump at the 2:43 mark!!
Getting off to another quick start in the first of his two meetings with Saldana Bernardino; Artsisheuskiy utilized a 2-on-1 throw-by for the TD and then added a 2pt gut to jump out to a 4-0 advantage less than half-a-minute in the opening period....
Later awarded a caution +1 for passivity with 1:19 remaining in the stanza, he converted another 2pt gut before tacking on a 2pt lift on the continuation of the sequence to get off the mat in a time of 1:57!
His quickest victory occurred in the crossover semifinals, as he needed just 27 ticks to explode for consecutive 4-pointers (body lock throw complemented by a belly-to-belly surplex) to topple Flores Ayala (2025 Double Pan-American Age-group runner-up)...
The only thing that saved Flores Ayala from surrendering the pin would be that officials ruled that he was out of bound before the American could cinch in his power-half after his aforementioned second toss!
Responsible for collecting the third of the Red, White, and Blue GR contingent's SIX TOTAL individual crowns in the Greco discipline; the Gotham native was joined on the top step by ๐๐๐ง๐ง๐๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ฒ (55kg), ๐๐ข๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ง๐ฏ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ (63kg), ๐๐๐๐ง๐๐ง ๐๐ฒ๐๐ญ๐ญ (87kg), ๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐ณ๐จ๐ (97kg), & ๐๐๐๐ง ๐๐ญ๐ญ๐๐จ (130kg)!!!
Eight of 10 team representatives securing a medal of any color; it was ๐๐๐ฑ ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ค and ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ฒ each picking up silver at 60kg and 72kg to do their part in vaulting the United States' atop the team standings!
